comparison of dimensions: Red Sea Dweller vs. Deep Sea vs...
I swear I saw a chart or pics with overlays of these models with dimensions (e.g. lug to lug, bezel edge to bezel edge, etc.), weight, etc.
Am I dreaming?? I searched google images and here and no dice. Anyone have this saved somewhere?? Trying to decide if I should dump my Deep Sea and switch to Red SD. Thanks! |

Check out this thread as well: DSSD D-Blue v. SD43
https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?sha...3&share_type=t Why are you thinking of swapping it for a SD43? Can you post some wrist shots of your DSSD? Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy my SD43, best watch I’ve ever had. That said, if I had a big enough wrist for it and it wasn’t going to be my daily wear I’d absolutely have a DSSD...it’s a cool and beast of a watch, not to mention the stunner of a dial! |

I can't get over the text on the rehaut. It is like a billboard to me. I've owned the watch for 10 years (got one of the first released in summer 2008) and it is the only thing I don't like about it. I love the size, dial color, domed crystal, clasp, bigger crown, engineering awesomeness, etc. The "Original Escape...blah blah blah...Ring Lock System" ruins the watch for me. Wider bracelet would be nice, but its not a deal breaker. I just can't understand why they didn't put all that text on the back of the case. The ringlock itself (steel ring) looks awesome. They should have left it as brushed steel and let the product speak for itself. I went so far as to reach out to a few well known watchmakers/customizers to ask about having the text removed, but either got no response or said they weren't interested in the work because the text is "laser etched" (which I guess means can only be removed via scraping metal off, which may compromise the case). I asked if a chemical or lazer-welding would work, but they doubled down on not being interested in monkeying with it. Would be perfect watch for me otherwise. |
