FSOT: Vintage 1978 Omega Speedmaster Pro “MoonWatch”. Dial and hands are in near mint condition. Case, crystal, bezel insert, pushers and band are in very good condition. All functions work correctly and resets to zero properly. The 861 movement (39M) looks crisp and runs about +15 sec/da. As you can see from the scans the dial is still luminous. All the luminous material is still intact on the hands and markers. The band from the same vintage (though probably not original to the watch) has enough links to fit about a 7.75-8” wrist. The case back rubber gasket was worn and crumbly so I’ve removed it. The inscription on the case back is very crisp and seems not to have been polished. All in all a nice vintage speedy moon.
