I just got a Hirsch Leonardo Medici in soft black leather to switch out on both my SMP and my Speedy Pro. I prefer soft leather to rubber. Cheers, Bill P.

I finally got the strap on the watch, it's a 2254. It looks good, soft leather with white stitching. The strap tapers so it looks small on the 41mm watch. Didn't want to get anything pricey so I picked it up at a local watch shop. It's going to see water so I didn't want to ruin it with a high-end strap.

The black Omega rubber with fold-over deployant is a versatile combo but not inexpensive:
It's a very comfortable strap with the look and feel of leather. The Hirsch Mobile is a WR alternative for around $60. It comes in black but here it is in blue on my 2255.80: Fr. John† |

Fr. John, I got the same strap but for some reason I can't make it work with my Breitling Steelfish or my Rolex Submariner, any suggestions?

Each watch manufacturer puts the lug holes in different locations so one brand's straps/bracelets seldom work with another brand. Rolex even locates the holes differently on strap models than on bracelet models. A friend once bought a new 18k Daytona on a strap and decided he wanted a bracelet for it. He could not get an OEM bracelet so had to buy another 18k Daytona on a bracelet. Yes, he made his AD happy with sales of two 18k Daytonas! The Hirsch Leonardo straps are adjustable to fit most any watch. The fit may not be absolutely perfect but will be close. Here is a Hirsch Leonardo Principe on my EXPII: Fr. John† |

Fr, John,
I have the Hirsch Leonardo I try every different position and the lug holes don't seem to work, it looks like the lug holes are too deep. What size of the springbars you're using?

FYI -
I have the 45.5 planet ocean with SS - also bought the OEM rubber strap for it. I do not like the rubber strap, not very soft and doesn't sit right on my wrist. I just ordered the 22mm NATO (James Bond) strap for it. Saw in on another PO, and had to have it. |

All these straps look great! I really like the fit of the Hirsch product.
For OMega stuff - this is a good link: http://www.ofrei.com/page_146.html |
