Missed the checkin!
Apparently I was asleep at the wheel and missed the check-in. Been a watch guy from a very young age. Started with my grandfather having an Omega on a leather strap, no idea what model as he passed when I was young but pie pan dials have a special place in my heart so it may have been one. I can recall numerous times he would strap it to my arm just above the elbow and let me run around with it for hours like that. From that moment on I was hooked. Has yet to end as I build my modest collection that I too hope to strap to my grandson's arm and plant that seed. I tried this with my son but it somehow failed to peak his interest.
