Shreve & Co in SF

Stop by Shreve this afternoon to check out the stock and talked with Kim while in there. They actually had a decent stock, a polar explorer, SS YM2, YG Sub, Bluesy, few GMTs and a Milgauss. We talked a bit about the stock issues and the recent releases from Basel. Overall, I was impressed with our interactions as I’ve never been in the store before but he was very welcoming...I tried a few pieces, mainly to see how the Daytona’s size would fare on my wrist....man was it small after taking off my SD43. He had a Submariner on himself and tried on my SD43, commenting how he wished he had the wrists to be able to rock the Sea Dweller a nice guy and a nice AD. They also had a bunch of Tudors in stock, the blue Pelagos and ranger stuck out to me. If I were looking for a new piece I’d gladly make the purchase there, even though I’m not from the area.

By the way, he mentioned they had a few folks on a wait list for the SD43 and that I was lucky to have it

Thanks for sharing! I'm assuming the GMTs were not SS?

Hey man! I just left the store and I think I actually saw you in there. I heard yall talking about wrist size and I mentioned to you that you should love having large wrists because even my no date sub looks a bit big on my feminine wrists lol!

Saw your SD43 from afar and loved it :) beautiful piece.

I got to their store late last Sunday right at closing time and missed checking out their Rolex display. My wife spent too much time at the Valentino Shoes boutique a few blocks away.

Oooohhhhh ... did they have any new CHNR GMTs? I was talking to Kim just last week about wanting to see them in the metal. I’ll have to head back in if they’ve gotten some new stock.

What Daytona did you try on? Any of the ceramic PMs in stock?

Thanks for the report!

Bummer, if you’re in the area I’d recommend checking it out. The sales folks were good to talk to and they had a decent selection

No CHNR’s, at least not in the case. I tried on one of the TT Daytona’s on just to get a feel for how the case looks on my wrist, no ceramics in the case...not sure if they had any in the back.

Thanks man! Not sure if they told you, but they're having** a Tudor event tonight at starting at 6 or 6:30 if you're interested in checking out the BB58 and Tudor Pepsi.

Yeah thanks man...I noticed some of the Tudor advertisements when I first walked in so I had asked about it. I probably won’t go though, not super interested in either of those watches.
