Small bump on Submariner dial
Long time lurker here in need of a little help from you experts...
I have just traded for a 2003 Submariner which I really like but after having it on for a day, I spotted a little bump on the center of the dial. Only visible when the light is right and reflecting. It’s like the hands are pushed down from where they rise through the dial. I wonder how would you feel about that. Do you consider this a deal breaker or won’t care at all? Here's a video I recorded for reference: |

Well, good to know it can happen.
Thanks for the responses. So I guess it doesn't have an effect on resale value? |

No, it is not a "can happen" thing; it is how it is made. This is a very common technique in sheet metal work to strengthen a stamped hole. It did not occur while installing the hands or anything else.. .

I agree that it's normal.
I know my Rolex watches have that feature.
