What's the going rate....................

for a 2 year old, never worn 5990?

I've been offered one and have no idea what it's worth so I really would appreciate your advice.

TIA

Chrono24 will give you the best estimate.

$65k seems to be the going rate. I was shopping for one recently. I really love the watch! I currently have 5711/1a, 5711R, 5712/1a. This one has great wrist presence and is one of my favorites to wear. The downside for me is, I'm at the age that I need readers and without them, I can't read the date or the chrono... Such a bummer!

it's a steel nautilus so anything less than $150,000 would be too little

That was a typo, right? Or your tongue was so firmly planted in cheek that a chuckle wasn’t possible?

That’d be almost $100K over MSRP. I get that they aren’t readily available, but $65-75K seems more likely.

My AD has a pre owned for 68. I guess 65 is going rate on secondary market.

Low 60s I'd say. But I'd get one from an AD fresh and newly dated at 53.3, there have been a few recent reports of them being attainable at ADs in the USA without a pre-existing relationship or waiting.

Two year never worn....

Is it double box sealed?

Single sealed?

Why did you never wear it?

Did you wind it monthly to keep the fluids 'spinning'?

Original box and OPEN papers or ???

All these can hamper or benefit resale of Pateks.

I think those were fairly specific anomalies (at least the ones I saw posted about on here).

It is still a pretty tough find for a new buyer - not 5711/5712 tough but then everything is relative

for a used one i would not pay over retail as they are attainable. If i was just impatient i would get a new one secondary market as its only a few thousand more so not bad for a BNIB vs used spread.

2 year old and never worn is still out of warranty so its more in the "used" price spectrum mid to low 60's
