Miracle do happen!!

Feeling like a very lucky boy today. Was calling ADs in the London area for a no-date sub, 2nd call I made was to WoS in Canary Wharf & was told they had it in stock. Raced to the dealer, he had it waiting for me. Was such a great, knowledge team, really enjoyed discussing watches. Have spent a lot with another nearby dealer, never felt more than a cash cow to them. Overjoyed to add this one to the collect as my daily wearer. They did keep the warranty for a year, but I can live with that!

why let them keep the warranty card for an entire year??? It is your watch you paid for it and deserve all of the accompanying items. Bad form on your AD.

It’s common for most AD’s in london nowadays. I don’t necessary agree with their policy but it is becoming common and helps flush out grey dealers. Obviously OP is a genuine buyer but there are lot of guys who will flip especially when they could make a quick 800-1000 gbp.

Thanks all. Yes I was a little grumpy about the card, however given the stroke of luck I had today, I felt like I couldn’t let it go. This ones a keeper:)

Just a quick heads up to anyone in the area... they had a TT Yg/SS skydweller, GMT 2c in stock. David M Robinson had a blue dial Milgauss. Fraser hart Stratford had a TT yg/SS bluesy in stock. Have been getting around today.

When you win the lottery it is bad karma to bitch about how few millions you actually won.

Well done, OP!

Not that I am speaking for the OP, but my own 2¢...

When I complete a transaction and pay in full, I expect to be finished with that seller. Whether it is a house, a car, a business or a Rolex. If something went wrong I don’t want to have to trot over and fetch my “paperwork”.

The sale is finished upon payment.

Just my way of doing things.
