Strap options for DSSD 126660
Anyone has an idea what are some strap options available for the new DSSD? Been thinking of mixing it up with maybe a rubber strap but it seems most of the straps made for DSSD are mostly for the older models. Eg. Everest, Rubber B

I have Rubber B and I’m very pleased! Some other straps I have liked, but others have, well, questioned!

it's too chunky to be worn on a strap, stick with the bracelet

It's 90% better on a bracelet, and the other 10% for use with a Rubber B. Nothing else looks remotely even acceptable to me with this watch.

That's one nice pic. What strap is that? Is that a 126660 or 116660?

Rubber B only has straps for the 116660, not the new 126660 yet right?

Does anyone know if the dssd 126660 and the seadweller 126600 share the same bracelets specs? Are they interchangeable??

Hard to believe they would be interchangeable. The Deepsea is thicker, so the end links won't fit appropriately. Rubber B responded to my email, The 126660 will have a new strap design spring 2019 which really means summer 2019.

I feel the DSSD fits and feels better and lighter on the rubber B with tang buckle. I never sleep with my DSSD on with the bracelet but on the rubber B I fall asleep with it on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m in the minority I know, but I find my 126660 is most comfortable on a heavy duty 3 ring single pass nato from crown & buckle. The weave is thick so it supports the heavy DSSD and single pass so it is not elevated off the wrist. The extra mm in lug width with this latest model really helps here.

Google “combat straps”. Nothing to do with combat as in a war... they make beautiful straps and other leather goods.

Hopefully picture will come through. I have a hard time uploading - can never remember how it is done. Go to crown & buckle website and select nato straps under “type”, then look for “heavy duty nato”. I like the weave on these and when selecting your style you can toggle for 3 ring or 5 ring. The 3 ring means single pass. Hope this helps.

Looks great! I loved the Rubber B Glidelock Series on my Sub and really wanted to buy one for my 126660 (black dial) but it's only available in Jet Black / Pacific Blue. Only the Tang Buckle is available in Jet Black (as well as other colors) which I can't understand why Rubber B would do this? I would've already had one on my 126660 if the Glidelock Series came in Jet Black. Makes absolutely no sense at all too me.

Thanks.
Nice strap (good price too) but it isn't offered with use of your Glidelock either.

Hopefully Rubber B will have other colours come up. But a pure black would be a start. So does everyone buy tools to do the change by themselves?

i like single pass 3 ring Nato straps..i have them on several divers.
But i love Erica's Original strap on my DSSD. it is a little more streamlined and classier than the basic nato strap, yet it still gives the pass through security of the nato. and since theyre a little stretchy and you wear them snug, they keep the big watch in place while knocking a ton of weight off for those that think the DSSD is too heavy. mine is a 116660... but the strap would be the same 22mm |

Even if I had the D-Blue dial I would still want Jet Black. Hopefully the rep who replied doesn't know what they're talking about because this just doesn't sound right to me from a business prospective and only limits your sales. Yes, I and many others change their straps themselves with the right tools. Quote:
