Battle of the blues

Need some input!!! Still debatting on which to keep, I’m going nuts but I think I’m leaning towards the 15400 since my wife wants to have the pair 🤦🏻*♂️🤦🏻*♂️

Another reasoning is too many chrono’s This will be the only piece aside from the Rolex that is simple with just the date.

My current collection is:

RG44 (not going anywhere)
Ti44 (also not going anywhere, unless I score the new Platinum)
Patek 5590
SD43
RO15400 Blue
ROC26331 Blue

My wife’s current collection is:

Daytona 116520
Black Sub 114060
RO 15450 Blue

Thoughts????! what do you guys think???

Since you mention you feel like you already have many chronos, I think the 15400 is the right choice. Plus, it means you have the pair with your wife!!

15400 blue dial for me , is the best of both worlds. Chrono blue dial is more common.
IMHO

LOL. I've never seen an AP in the wild other than mine. Unless I'm watching Ballers. With that said I like you and your wife having the 15450 and 15400 matching.

Is more common in the market for sure , there is more examples for sale of the Chrono than the blue 15400. In the wild I can’t even find a Sub lol

There's more blue to enjoy on the 400, but I do like the silver subdials of the chrono.

15400 has my vote. Or you could keep the ROC and sell me the 15400! I’d be good with either choice.

I think the ROC works as a pair with your wife's 15450, too. It's just a more masculine, more gadgety version.

But, yes, the 15400 makes for a literal "his and hers" pair.

Can't go wrong either way, but it sounds like you've been leaning towards the 15400 since the big week when you had, what, 3 amazing watches come in? If I recall, you unwrapped that 15400 right away and put it on your wrist, while the ROC has remained in plastic for two months now. I think you've clearly already made up your mind, so not sure what you're waiting for. Was your AD not willing to take back the unworn ROC that first week?

Didn’t ask, as I got both of them from different boutiques. But I got 2 Blue ROCs the same week. That’s why this
one stayed in the safe new.

But also leaning towards the 15400... but not 100% thats why I keep going back in forth... lol... and hence the reason I kept it new

Keep the 15400. Blue ROC is much easier to replace if you decide you made a mistake.

I’m pretty sure that voids your warranty.

With the abilities to match 15400/15450 blue dials like that, the blue chrono would be first to go for me. Or just keep them all if that is an option
