I know this is a Rolex forum and i will get some biased answers but I am looking to add to my collection. I have it down to two watches that I cannot make a decision. I am looking at a ulysse Nardin maxi marine solid rose gold ( ref. 266-33). It’s preowned in the grey market . Great price since the resale value is so low . The other is a Rolex Daytona platinum dial blue face (ref. 116622) both are almost the same price . I know it’s ultimately up to me but wanted to hear what everything thought and had to say . Anyone own a Ulysse Nardin and happy with them ? Regrets etc ?? Thanks !

Plat daytona for sure - it's a gorgeous watch. I don't know much about Ulysse though.

I don't think I am biased at all here when I say, Ulysse Nardin cannot be compared to Rolex. lol.

But the Rolex is better designed, more reliable, more valuable, perfect face and case, and just all in all a much better bang for your buck.

Are you talking about the Platinum Daytona or the Yachtmaster with Blue Face compared to the UN? The reference you gave is for a Yachtmaster.

APOLOGIES! That was an auto correct error ! Not the Daytona ! It’s the yacht-master. Blue face platinum ! So sorry for the confusion !
