Even if that's a typo, then 27~36 hours (assuming that is "hours") is too short a time for the PR of any modern automatic watch. So what gives?

It should read 48 hours... no idea where the 27-36 came from

Exactly!! Well, at least 44~46 hours as a general rule of thumb.

Regardless of the reserve, the price is certainly one to beat! I've ordered enough for the entire TRF crew (please, one per login...)

Yet the "littel blue" Seamaster has a longer power reserve...Yet, Doctor's advise, for a power reserve lasting more than 48 hours, please be sure to call your Doctor, your ex-G/F's, your wife, a camera news team and anyone else who may care...

My Omega DeVille had about the same reserve as my Rollies, although I didn't sit down and time them. Only watches I know that last months on reserve are the Seiko Kinetics.

Had to add this...my wife read it and said, "of course the power reserve will last that long, it says AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT!"
I need to get her more blond hair dye

That's correct. The 4130 calibre will give you approximately 72 hours of Power Reserve.

My CO-AXIAL Seamaster is supposed to have an increased power reserve, but my Z serial sub has the exact same reserve as my new SMP
