wore it out last night to dinner. feels really good on the wrist. love the bracelet (minus the pins for sizing). i much prefer the screw links of a rolex.

i really hate sizing with the pins.

but a great watch overall!

have a great weekend.

Mike,

Sizing an Omega bracelet can be a pain. Dealing with the pins and getting the right combo of links (6:00 and 12:00) may take some "fiddling" but once you get it right for your wrist, you will love it.

It took Bill (gaopa) several weeks to get his right but he loves it now. My wife hated her new Aqua Terra but after several "pin and barrel" sessions at my work bench, she's smiling.

Admittedly, screws are convenient but they are not as secure as the pins. Properly installed and cared for, pins should last the life of the bracelet.

The only negative about the SMP bracelet is the lack of micro-adjustments on the clasp. Unfortunately, the clasp design does not allow for any adjustment holes. My suggestion to SMP owners is to invest in your own bracelet tools and learn the procedure.

The 2254.50 is truly a classic and mine gets the most wrist time of all my watches.

Congratulations on your new SMP! They are great watches.

However, as Fr. John said, I had a hard time getting mine to fit right. After several different link arrangements, it is now very comfortable.

Do not ever get rid of that watch!! It is one of Omega's most beautiful pieces IMO. I very much regret flipping mine although it helped fund my LV. Great watch you have there.

The 2254.50 is such a great dive watch.

While I miss mine, I have to say as great as it was, I like my Sub ND much better. But I do miss that lume!
