Great review and pics as always, but it is not the first AP with ceremet bezel... ceremet is used on Trulli year before this model...

Tremendous watch, if it didn't have those large bat's wing pushers I would probably own one.

You're damn right! How did I miss that. The Trulli was launched in 2010 and the Schumi in 2012.

Thanks for sharing - as always, very much enjoy your reviews and pics.

If I may ask - where do you get the watches from to review, as loans from AP, or your personal / other private collections ?

LOL that's the first thing I thought when the notification of the new article hit my cell yesterday. Had me second guessing the Trulli release date.

So sorry! Finished the headline without double checking my books.

They did all the custom job on our fellow member conkers unique 44 Tourbillon ROO except ceremet bezel... so probably they have no intentions to use it anymore... a shame, I found it perfect balance between black ceramic and original steel bezel with best characteristics of both worlds...

I really wish they would. Such a cool and unique material for watches. Great scratch resistance and less brittle than full ceramic. plus that its used as the tiles on the bottom of space shuttles for reentry is pretty cool.

Still want a Ti diver with cermet bezel and anthracite coated rotor. think Ti shumi diver. Wish I had enough status that could be my unique 1:1 AP.

If we can dream, Ti 42 case with RB2 pushers, Ti Schumi dial (just with black date) and ceremet bezel will be my choice...
