Think 1.5 size link you are referring is on the super jubilee; haven't seen one of those for the president bands

They made a 1.25 link for the DD, I have heard, but when I had my 118238 I searched high and low, trying to find one. Many have said walk into an AD and they will order one for you. Umm no they won’t, or not the ones I tried. Went and called 3 ADs in my area and two have never heard of such...

Good luck OP, hope you have better luck than I

There is a 1.5 link for most president and jubilee bracelets with a hidden clasp. Will the average salesperson know it exists or how to order one? probably not. Go to an AD with a watchmaker.

This is one factor that has kept me away from a DD. Why should a half link be such a mythical thing to obtain for Rolex's top watch?

There is a 1.25 link, but not sure if it's available for the bark models, however. Here's a picture of mine on my DD40.

And...as far as an AD not being able to order it. Of course they can. It's a bona fide part with a part number that all they have to do is pick up the phone (or use a computer) and place the order. If they don't, they either don't want to or don't know how to.

I have the 125 link for my DDII. You’d think a DD would come with two!! I’ve heard they’re quite expensive. I was fortunate my AD didn’t charge me for one.

Yes I agree for the price of a new dd it should be an option if needed. My friend went to buy a 118238 a few years ago. the bracelet wouldn't fit at the AD at time of purchase he had to pay extra for 3 spare links!

No half links needed on the older president clasp to reach perfect fit, just a toothpick !
