Croc/Gator straps

What are your opinions on croc straps? There are shed loads of leather straps out there. but what about croc straps? How do they compare against regular bovine leather?

I understand certain PAM models ship with croc straps. Mine came with regular leather. I am thinking to try croc strap as never owned a watch with it at all.

Anyone?

I think Croc straps are tougher and longer lasting than your regular leather straps

Not croc ,but gator from Panerai.OEM gators from Panerai are great !! Great quality.I dont care for the length though and find it rediculously short @ 115/75.(Just like the real gator a Panerai wearer also want a bit of "tail" ... I would look at their 115/95 24/22 or 125/95 26/26.

The Nubuck gold 125/95 26/26 is my favourite

I agree with TswaneNguni - Gator Pam's are great.... They are really short. "no tail"... I just got new straps - have to say - tail is good.

TswaneNguni - Do, you do your 26/26 on 44mm? Just curious. Might need to try that on my next strap purchase. I have been doing 24/24.

I have used a GSD 26/26 on a Luminor,worked fine,easy to fit,but best to stay 24/24.

Cool, now gotta choose which gator strap!

26/26, that would mean buckle would be big compared to 24?

I just change my 183 strap with croc strap from StrapCulture. Very nice looking IMO.

I'm not buying anything but croc or gator these days... Check out Simona and Ted Su :-)

You'll easily get something a little longer and fatter than the OEMs from them.
