Thats a very strange watch for a guy like him to choose. Its a great watch, dont get me wrong, but,...... its short on bling, usability, style, and form. Its not sporty or flashy. Its main function is irrelivent to him. I wonder why he chose the Mill?

Great find, and great shots!

I disagree: I think it's more sporty than a DD or DJ (which would be an obvious choice to a tox), and I think the green crystal makes it a bit "bling".

Now to that i agree,.... but i would not have assumed he would wear one of thoes either. I imagined him in a GMT IIc, or a DSSD, something different and distinguished, bold and useable. But i do take your point compaired to a DD or DJ. Wonder if its the tux i am not considering, i read threads on acceptable evening wear. I just wear my GMT for everything,...maybe its me!

The watch doesn't even fit him. I'd guess his personal assistant showed him a palette of 3 or more watches, and he chose whichever he fancied at the moment.

The Omega web site list James Bond, not Daniel Craig, as an Omega ambassador.

As to the pic, it does not look like a DD (not day window at 12).

There has been rumours for a while that Rolex might once again be the bond watch as omegas contract has/is due to run out so will be the one who is prepaired to throw the most money at the producers to get their watch in the films

i think the milgauss looks out of place with what he is wearing. a dress watch would look much better. the fact that it's fitted so poorly doesn't help.

it's less bling but I love that green crystal.

since the main function is to tell time, I think it works just fine.

Mine so far is less 1 sec deviation daily.

I can't understand why Omega allow him to wear a non Omega watch, whilst the Bond films are being released. They would usually at least try and write it into a contract that he must only wear Omega to film related events. Omega must pay big bucks to be the exclusive Bond watch.

No different from an athlete sponsorsed by a sports brand. Could you imagine Jordan turning up to an event draped in ''Reebox''?

He hasn't had the watch fitted very well either, looks like it's going back to the store once the night is over.

I'm not so sure, Rolex picks and chooses their sponsorships and while it might make sense for the two to be associated, Rolex seems to have other ideas. They wouldn't even give the producers of the first Bond films free watches let alone pay them for product placement. They've had opportunities to support Bond in the past and have done so sparingly, so I'd be surprised if they took over after Omega, JMHO

The contract is for the movie, and Daniel Craig is under no obligation to alter his personal life for the good of an advertiser, mandating a star to alter his hobbies and/or choices can be very expensive, I'm sure if they even discussed it, it was cost prohibitive

I hope Rolex doesn't get into the product placement thing with the Bond series. I think it "cheapens" the Omega brand (IMO). I have to say that I like the Omega divers, but stay away from getting them because of the James Bond marketing, which just doesn't seem classy to me.

Rolex should be above such business, and stick to associations with the people and activities that better reflect Rolex's traditions and values.
