Ap 15400st
Just got here today, need to take it in to add a link to loosen as it’s too snug, I’m used to my milgauss, so this is much lighter and underwhelming to what I remember. I’ll give it a day or 2 to adjust to the watch as I’m sure I’m still not used to it. It’s very shiny!!

Well the milgauss is a heavy watch for its size but I’ve never heard the 15400 described as underwhelming! It’s a pretty solid piece.

Very nice!
And give it a chance going from the Milgauss to the RO is a bit of a change, understand the difference in feel as the Milgauss is a little top heavy plus I find the RO bracelet if sized right holds the head in place far better then the oyster, so will be a difference in fit and feel. The RO does catch the light but wouldn’t say it’s shiny Vs a Milgauss as I find the PCL and non AR Rolex crystals really catch the light and reflect where as with the RO it’s all the variations in surface finish so to me they both catch the light in different ways, maybe it’s down to what you are used to. Really it’s a case of giving it a try over a few days before making a snap decision given the Milgauss has been a daily for 7 years any watch change is going to feel different initially. |

Hope you bond with the 15400 - it’s a great watch...but if not you’ll have no issues moving it on
If you want something. With more heft, give the 15400or a try! |

Thanks for the encouragement, first world problems I know. Took it to an AP shop and had one link added, fits like a charm now. I think the difference in dials is significant, the milgauss is very dark with no reflection, the AP is more glossy but something I’ll need to adjust to. it’s different hearing the rotor winding up but neat also

I thought the 15400 was 170 grams. The milgauss is heavier?

Sites have said 157 grams, might feel heavier due to it being pretty top heavy
