DIY Bezel paint???
Has anyone actually removed the old paint and replaced it on an explorer 2 bezel? From the 10 o’clock to 2 o’clock position it’s showing the most to wear. I watched a couple of videos where the old paint was removed with a toothpick and replaced with testors model paint. I’m just wondering if it’s worth the effort or if I should just replace the bezel. I’m hoping somebody has done this and can give me some feedback. Thanks.

I've done it on my Tudor 7020/0. Took some practice but turned out pretty good.

I've done quite a few, I use acrylic black lacquer, don't be afraid to use too much. Wipe excess off with a soft cloth damp with acetone.

Thanks for the information. I think I’ll give it a try.
