Dilemma..
Long story short guys, I paid for a Tudor gmt set to come in December. But today, I got a call saying that my local ad will be getting a sub date ss this Friday. My question is, should I dump the Tudor for the Rolex and get my deposit back? Or just keep both? I’m kinda in a money crunch but not like end of my life sort of thing. Help me choose haha.

It's pretty simple: Rolex over Tudor

For me, I'd rather have the Rolex.

Depends on which one you like more if you cannot get both.

If there is any way you can do both, do. If not, Sub.

Sub without a doubt. If you can't get your money back for the GMT, just sell it if you are in a tight situation.

If you are tight on cash I’d avoid buying an expensive watch. But if you need a watch right now buying the Tudor makes sense it’s a very nice watch and quite a bit cheaper.

Thanks for your input guys! Definitely want the Rolex. I could pull off both but I’m kinda one of those one watch and done sort of guys.

Sub definitely a better watch. If money is tight though maybe hold off?

I love GMT complications, but the Sub is a superior watch and the Tudor just can’t match it. Apples and oranges. I’d get the Sub without another thought.

Go for the sub. GMT is handy for the 24h feature, but I personally can manage time zones with a simple bezel as well.

Thanks for kind input again guys! I should’ve rephrased, I’m not in a money crunch but would rather just own one watch for now, but totally was aiming for the sub. I’m just happily caught off guard one was coming in so soon. The AD told me 5 people already asked about one and with the holidays coming up I’m pretty sure getting a sub or even a Tudor will be very difficult. I can say that I’ve waited about 2 months before I got the call today so not bad of a wait.

Dilemma..
If you only want one watch, go with the sub. The Tudor gmt is a great watch, but if you want a Rolex it won’t scratch that itch and you will probably end up getting both, or flipping the Tudor.
Once you are comfortable money wise, the Tudor will be an option as an add, and likely they will be more available by then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I see quite a few, but i work in an area of London that you’d expect to. Where I live I see very few. That said, I don’t look too hard.

I would wait until you’re flush. The watches will still be there when you’re in a better place financially.
But if I had to choose, sub no doubt. |
