Finding the Seller

I can’t find my original receipt right now. Is it possible to due a reverse look up to find the name of the person, name and address of the seller by the guaranty paperwork that came with my Rolex watch by (S/N, Model #, etc.)? Of course, assuming they did register it properly? I know the complex where I bought it, but to my knowledge the person/store is not there anymore?

Perhaps if you provide the name of 'the complex', city and state and year. Someone here might know what AD you purchased from.

Good luck.

There is no "registration" of the buyer of a watch.

If you are asking if a Dealer would give you privacy information on a customer, that is not likely to happen.

How does Rolex track their watches? There must be a paper trail somehow?

Rolex "tracks" their watches from the factory to the Dealer. When a Dealer sells the watch it is then free to roam the world without strings.

If you send your watch in to Rolex for service, they will associate your name with the watch you sent in. If you use the Dealer to send it in, they still won't know who you are.

Rolex does not keep track of ownership, no ID requirement to buy a watch either

Rolex dont track the buyer. They dont care who bought the watch. The card is only scanned to activate the serial number and warranty.

Did you buy it new from an AD? AD's name should be listed on the warranty card.
