Q: Is the BLNR your favorite watch on the market?

I absolutely fell in love with this watch from the time it was announced at Basel. I’ve loved and wanted it ever since. Of my 3 watches, I would have to say it’s my favorite on the wrist. More notably, it’s my favorite of any watch on the market.

The BLNR is not the rarest or most exclusive watch out there. But is it your favorite?

Beautiful watch but wouldn’t call it “my favorite”

Yup! Currently my favorite. Though, I only have a limited number of watches I can say I favor it over, so my pool is limited. This includes: 1680 red/white, 16520 inverted 6 black, 1675, 16570 Polar, 5513, Omega Speedmaster, Planet Ocean, Connie’s, Breitling 806, 809, Blackbird, Avenger, Panerai 005, 112, 243, 380, PP 5711, Tudor BB GMT...and others

What am I saying? BLNR is friggin awesome! I like wearing it! It’s rugged, but dressy enough to go to a dinner party with stuffy old people...

I'm sorry, no.

My AD offered me one from the back almost 2 years ago and I turned it down. It doesn't do anything for me and I wear blue pretty much on a daily basis. Red and black Coke? Now that's more my speed.

If I managed to get one it will definitely be my top watch. I have a soft spot for an everose yacht master. Feel like as a single watch that would tick all my boxes.

Sorry, not by a long shot. My favorite GMT is either that original black bezel, or possibly the new TT Root Beer, which I have yet to see in real life. And right now I am wearing one of my favorite two watches, the Explorer I 214270, my other favorite being the Omega 60th Anniversary Railmaster.
I really like the BLNR, just not my choice, and certainly not one that I would be put on a waiting list for. But I have a few friends who own that model and absolutely love it. On the other hand, I have a few watches that I am sure nobody else would consider a favorite. Just goes to show, wear what YOU like with pride.
Cheers,
Carl

Nice watch, but it just can’t compete with something along the lines of a Platinum Daytona.

I have 3 Ceramic models: BLNR, White DaytonaC and the SD4K 116600. In terms of preference, I will have to say 1. SD4K 2. DaytonaC and 3. BLNR.

It's a spectacular watch in my humble judgement, but I wouldn't call it my favorite Rolex.

The one's I enjoy wearing the most are the 1503, the 114270, the 14060M, and the 116200 63600, which is not to say that I don't enjoy my 116710BLNR immensely when I'm wearing it.

It's just impossible to say that there is a particular favorite, except of course, the one that I'm wearing at any given time.

It doesn't even make my top 20 list. That is just within the Rolex brand.

Of all the watches I’ve owned, BLNR is by far my favourite.

No its too much..not for me would not even pay retail or less

Where do you start ..the bezel is too full, it has horrible scratch magnet centre links, the strap is not as good as a submariners and I don't like the bezel colours of blue and black

Fantastic watch, no doubt. The only comment I have it’s not for every occasion. My ideal watch would be something more subdued

No, I’m affraid it isn’t my favourite watch in Rolex’s current line up.

It looks good in pictures but when I’ve tried it on, I came to the following conclusions; The blue 24 hour hand is nowhere near present enough on the dial in comparison to the colour red or another vivid colour, the PCL’s warned me off wearing it as a day to day watch & the subdued bezel put it in line colour wise with the traditional Submariner.

Personally, functionality wise, I would prefer the Pepsi GMT Master II for a GMT watch. It’s louder in presence but clearer when you want to glance down quickly. Visually, the BLNR is close to a Sub, so I would take one of them.

But I totally understand if you want a GMT but to not be loud visually, the BLNR is for you!
