Bracelet restoration

I will post some pictures to compliment this thread shortly. Scotch bright pads really are the true answer to restoring a bracelet to new again. As long as there are no real deep scratches, a few strokes in the same direction on your oyster bracelet brings it back to brand new again. After polishing my case side from my little careless mishap the other day I decided to go a step further. I decided to pop my bracelet off last night and go to town. The results astounded me. It was like I just bought my LV all over again. Has anyone else gotten the same results and if so was it kind of exciting when you got done?

I did the same on my friends 1st Rolex purchase back in November last year. He picked up a used Airking with box, papers etc for £1400 GBP but it needed a bit of polish on the case sides and the bracelet needed scotching.....Half a hour later it was like new and he loved it.

Good for you, Joshua. I've done the same and was happy with the results.

Glad you like the results Joshua..

We have a little "how-to" over in the Reference Library if anybody else wants to refresh their own bracelet..
