I like it. Although I don’t think I’d own in. Also, not sure if it’s authentic, but that’s only because I haven’t seen a dd like it before.

It’s a Rolex Day Date with Malachite dial. The closest I have found is reference 1803 with a smooth bezel. I don’t know of any Day Date sold without a Cyclops so it may have a replaced crystal or cyclops removed.

I have the Date Just 31mm YG with president bracelet and malachite dial on order for the wife. It was a quiet 2018 Basel release. The bezel has round diamonds and it retails for 46,000. Don’t ask me how I’m gonna pay for it

Several red flags...riveted bracelet with what looks like sels on a watch that didn't come with this bracelet, no cyclops, wouldn't DDs of this period have lug-holes?
Very beautiful watch but authenticity is questionable.

It may be just a trick of the light, but some of the 'gold' looks tarnished.
I'm aware that pure gold doesn't easily tarnish. Would the gold alloy that Rolex
use, oxidise?

Date font looks very small, not your typical 2.5x standard magnification. Not my style but to each its own!

I have one that is original to a 1803 DD. Went in for service with the watch at RDC with no issues.

The copper in old Rolex gold acquires that reddish patina if left in storage for a long period of time. It's easily removed but some enjoy the look.

Solid end link rivet oysters are real and were mostly found on 1802 DDs which came with a smooth bezel...here's another one from 1972.
