14270 vs SLA017

Hi all,

I have the pleasure of owning both a 14270 and 1016 explorer 1. However, after getting the 1016, I pretty much leave the 14270 in the drawer.

A friend of mine suggested a trade with his Seiko SLA017. I wonder if that will be a good trade. Specifically I really enjoy the 36mm size and wonder if the 39.9mm Seiko will be too much for me. Of course the vintage 6217 will be a good fit in terms of size but it's not easy to find one in reasonable condition for sale.

Any comments appreciated.

Seems like you prefer the Exp1 so keep it. Personally I wouldn't trade a SLA017 for Exp1
