End Link Info Needed- Tudor "Big Block"
Hey all,
I posted the below elsewhere, but have gotten no info. Anyone? I have recently become an owner of a Tudor "big block" chrono. I am looking for info on end links for the oyster bracelet. Does anyone know if there are other end links besides the 589s that will work? Temp fix until I can locate the 589s? Obviously, the 589s are the hardest to find and most expensive. Thanks in advance! Congrats on the Big Block. The 589s are the originals and the only end links that are big enough (pun ) for the Big Block. Unless it comes with the watch (bracelet ref: 78360), very unlikely to find loose pieces for sale. I've only seen 2 pairs for sale over the last 2 years. The later 605s end links will also fit (although originally meant for the ref: 792X0 series) but they are also expensive as hell on the secondary market. There's a couple on sale currently if you google but goes for more than $500 a pair I see there's a complete bracelet ref: 78400 with 605s on sale too for about $1100. Again it is not period correct reference for the Big Block Ref: 791X0 but it will fit like a glove. To me, given the current prices of the Big Block, if you have one and need the bracelet/end links, it is worth the money because the Oyster bracelet and end links have been out of production for some time (my estimation is since late 90s). They will not be getting cheaper, that's for sure. Do post some pics of you Big Block

Thanks Zack! Much appreciated. I really need to get this thing on a oyster. I have a 78360 bracelet, but obviously no ends. I may just have to buy some aftermarket ones and open them up until I can find some originals.
