Fake hulk on eBay
Been in contact with regards to this item ID 123476036341 on eBay. The font on the card looks funny and doesn’t show the full model (missing “LV”). The “original” box seems to include a GMT manual and not Sub manual and there are two additional booklets which I have no idea where these are from.
Despite listing stating that it’s payment or bank transfer on collection only, she said that only bank transfer and postage is acceptable as she feels uncomfortable meeting face to face as a woman. Fair enough but tried to convince her that this method is financially unprotected and should meet at a jewellers to which she agreed, and then later declined. Watch looks genuine from the photos, but something stinks about this. Sounds as if the seller is going to pressurise into paying via bank transfer for posting once the buyer has won the item. She hasn’t responded to my last message asking for a copy of her valuation certificate to be sent (without personal details) What do you guys think, and specifically about the card? Looks fishy to me.
Seller supposedly based in Twickenham - if it is legit, all they need to do is go to a grey dealer and they would get £8,000 for it. Why put it on Ebay for £7,190???? Stay clear my friend. |

Its on auction and has bids on it, but has offered £8k to me bank transfer and postage only (which I declined). Just need to confirm the warranty card as this doesn't look right - all of other listings for hulk have the bezel code (LV)

You are in the right section. Sorry, someone else will have to help, I searched the item number in ebay UK, but nothing came up for me. Must be a glitch on my end.

Additional photos added for your pleasure!
Looks like the packaging is too big for the watch (large vs medium)? Definitely the card appears to be wrong in my opinion. |

I've never seen an outer box with a drop down flap. I don't profess to be an expert, but I do own a Hulk and that dial looks well dodgy to me.

It's fake, at the very least the dial is. Font is way off.

2017, supposedly. I've reported it to eBay with the card looking a bit wrong. I don't buy the seller so she (or he) won't be scamming me.

Poor alignment of coronet on rehaut to 12 o'clock marker. Looks bad.

Found another on eBay. Same warranty card/serial for a s/s sub (pictured along side a paper warranty) stamped with 18k on the case. Already reported to eBay. Item 163360224827 on eBay uk.
What’s worrying is that many people are bidding on these items and are at serious financial risk. |

Sorry for my ignorance but... how does this hulk look fake? (the watch, not the box) This is pretty damn perfect looking to me.
Rehault misaligned also happens on real models I read here on TRF. If this is all fake.. wow, that's scary! |

On both of these watches, the warranty card is the exact same serial.
On the first, a blow up of the slightly visible rehaut serial indicates a completely different number. I would say that both of these watches are a scam waiting to happen.
