The trio

When I graduated from college in 2006, I bought myself a Hamilton Jazzmaster and thought that was as high as I'd ever get. Rolex seemed to be just something for the imagination.

12 years later, and here I am with 3 dream watches (to me, anyway). GMT was the one Rolex I've wanted since I was a kid (bought pre-owned in 2010 @ 3650!), the Hulk came out of nowhere (pre-owned, 2016) and if you've seen my last post, the DayDate as the grail/newcomer (brand new, my name on the card just last month).

At this point, I have everything I want from Rolex. The Daytona is nice enough, but if I were to get a new watch, it would probably be my first AP...though not anytime soon!

Perfect trio IMO. Just picked up my first with an Explorer. Sub will be sometime next year and then a GMT in 2020. Same situation, once I have my three I'll be set!

Thank you, that's what I was looking for. Didn't want watches that looked too similar.

Nice!

Fund the AP with the Hulk, relatively similar to the GMT.

Make the AP a Chrono and you're all set, well you'll be missing a dress watch on a strap!

It never ends...

The chrono is my Breitling CSO (gotta have a Breitling as a pilot!), and the dress watch is my Reverso.

These Rolexes aren't going anywhere - heirlooms for the kids.
