Artisan de Geneva Daytona...

I wonder how they pulled off 50 Ceramic Daytona watches? Probably more accessible than the regular while / black dial pieces!

Looks like a tag or hublot. I think it's cool but modding Rolexes isn't really my taste.

Looks great, but it looks too much like a Heuer 01 to buy it for more than a Daytona..a Heuer 01 with a similar aesthetic is about $5k.

The bezel is carbon fiber, not ceramic, so they could have bought up a bunch of 116520 models and parted out the dials and bezels. The only differences between the 116520 and 116500LN are the dials, bezels and hands depending on how they glow (2015 hands glowed blue, 2000-2014 hands glowed green).

The watch design is certainly unique for a Rolex but falls too much on the Zenith / Hublot side for my tastes. If there's one part I'd like to see in production, it's easily the bezel. Ceramic is great but I'm a sucker for carbon.

Edit: After watching the video and seeing the sandblasted inner clasp, they're definitely made from the 116520.

I expect it would be harder to read than the standard Daytona.

True for the black dials - always thought they were hard to read.

All I see is a service nightmare.

For clarity, the base watch is the steel bezel version prior to the ceramic.
It is stated in their literature and video.

Good point. You'd need an independent with a Rolex Level 50 cert. RSC = destruction.

It looks like a watch that’s designed to be seen, but not to be read.
