Tudor harrods edition but no stickers

My brother has just picked up my tudor harrods edition for me. It is a beautiful watch however when I recieved it this morning i discovered the stickers had been removed. Not an issue however with seeing so many with stickers in place it did make me wonder why mine wouldn't. Anyone got any experience of this.

Yup! Harrods are also now removing all stickers prior to handing over the watch.

Stickers are there for protecting the watch from scratches prior to sale. Afterwards they look like a breeding place for disease imho. Now if the watch will never be worn I can see an issue however it shouldn't see any damage locked in a safe either. Much prefer wearing to just owning!!!

Presumably in a ineffective attempt to prevent one from wandering around the corner to Watchfinder and selling it for a profit.

Congratulations nice watch

Have to agree just cannot see why this new no stickers on my qatch syndrome has started. They are just bits of useless sticky back plastic and have no real use except for putting the rubbish bin.

Yes that is what I thought also to be honest. Good job I plan on wearing it. Pointless being on a waiting list so long to not wear

It took them a while, but glad they’re finally doing this

Why bring this up if it’s not an issue?

For the very reason that I have put in the same message you have quoted.

as other examples I have seen posted the piece with stickers on so wondering if others have experienced this and why they may have changed.

I take it you have not got one to pass a valid reason to why this might be

A perfectly valid question. You may or may not agree with stickers being on watches but the Op did nothing wrong in asking the question.

Lovely watch.

If I bought a boutique or retailer exclusive watch with no stickers while every else's seemed to have stickers, I'd be a little worried I might have got a display model or even a return. When you pay full MSRP for something, that shouldn't happen.

Never said the op did anything wrong. Have you been reading the forum lately about the sticker this, the stickers that.

There is only one display model and it doesn’t get sold - it’s a waiting list piece. As many of these end up fully stickered on the grey market, they’re just de-stickering to try and stop flippers. Nothing to be worried about, the watch will be brand new. I believe they’re also keeping tags now too, and also not giving the white outer sleeve. I got mine mostly stickered, but without the tags or white outer sleeve.

Was just in Harrods this afternoon. Lots of eager customers perusing the watch department which was filled with virtually nothing other than Datejusts and Day Dates. I think you certainly got one of their best watches regardless of whether the stickers were intact.

Congrats, a superb watch.

Expect no stickers, no tags and no white outer sleeve to the box. However it’s a special watch in my opinion.

No problem imo. The AD/Harrods could shove the stickers, tags and outer sleeve for me. Nice watch.

I save all my stickers and am willing to sell you the ones from my BBN.

All joking aside, other than peeling the stickers yourself I dont think it make a difference

Feedback from the AD regarding the stickers is as expected. Tudor have requested stickers and hang tag to be removed with pictures of the watch and warranty card sent back to tudor, to try and prevent resellers. Which if it works is good all round
