Advice needed from the 16610LV experts
Hello all,
Looking into purchasing a Z serial 16610LV. Found one with the case stickers still on. Comes with box and papers. My question is regarding the papers. They are from a foreign dealer and have only the serial number on them, but not the model number of the watch. I was told by the seller that this is not unusual. All of the examples that I've seen have both the serial number and the model number with the "V" designation. Is the lack of the model number anything I should be concerned about? Thanks in advance for your help! |

Well the only indication in many countries to indicate watch was a LV was just on the plastic bar code sticker tag and not on the papers. The LV is just a production 16610 with green insert and a few other purely cosmetic changes.

This subject is hashed many times over, you can do a "This forum search" with "16610LV serial number tag" and spend hours reading. Enjoy.

Sounds like you’d always have some niggling doubts if you bought the current one you’re looking at.
For that reason, I’d pass on this one - and find one that is documented to your satisfaction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

A well documented Rolex is always a safer deal. I wouldn't take any chances for the amount of money you would pay for this watch. Unless you are a Rolex expert, BEWARE!
