I had a busy 2018. Purchased my first Speedmaster Pro in February, added three Seiko Turtle variations over May through November, and finished the year with my BLRO delivery a couple weeks ago. Unless something amazing comes out at Basel, I'm goid for now.

I didn’t add any watches in 2018 and am still very satisfied with the state of the collection so will probably stay as-is for 2019. But if I do add a new watch, my wish list includes:

I achieved my grail for this year. I got my first Rolex, a sub that I absolutely adore. Next year, my grail would be to get a dress watch on a brown leather band to accompany the sub. Some I'm considering are:
DJ41 fluted w/ white dial and add a strap JLC Master chrono IWC Portofino or Portofino chronograph If I'm going ultimate grail, even though chances are slim, it's a PP 5146G or 5296G. |

If I get one, the next will be a yellow gold Day Date 36.
Maybe they will update something this year to breathe a little life in to the classic 36.
