Hello, I am new here... Also a new / first time Rolex owner.
After saving for the past few years, I pulled the trigger on a Submariner. I was completely torn between the Sub and Explorer. Still want the Explorer of course, but I am loving the Sub, especially the Glidelock. It's literally the only watch I have ever owned that fits me perfectly.
Drove up to tax free New Hampshire and purchased from a wonderful AD. Saved a bunch of money on taxes and they gave us a gift card to go have dinner at a local restaurant. That was a nice touch. I order the Sub back in July and picked it up in December. It was still in that little plastic case that Rolex ships them in which was pretty cool. My name is Joe. I'll probably be asking a bunch of questions, but wanted to say hello!

I had to make the same decision but great choice. I think a lot of us "No-Date" Submariner fans are also huge Explorer fans.
