Skiing and my SS Daytona

I used to wear my EXP II doing just about all activities. I now have a SS Daytona, I'm going to the mountains this week, should I wear my watch, is it rugged enough to handle a tumble?

Sure...go for it....

There is no reason to think it woud be less rugged than any other Rolex on the ski slope....

While skiing the watch is well protected under the ski jacket, the gloves, the....., what ever you wear and not exposed to the temperatures or snow / water.

I ski ( mountain ) for the last 31 years. Wearing a Rolex the last 38. Never took a watch off, even when falling in deep snow at the early stages.

We just returned from a skiing week in Austria, 27.12 - 03.01, Kitzbul, watches, mine+wifes were always on.

After just reading another thread on someones' watch being stolen out of a locker, I'd wear it or leave it home. But really, it should be fine under a ski jacket and gloves.

If this 42 year old Sub can take it, I'm sure your new Daytona can! Have fun!

I'd say go for it and start building great memories with your Daytona. Enjoy and ski safe.

Take the Daytona. I'm sure it can handle a little cold.
