What's scarier is the fact that there's so many survailance-camera's that they can catch the whole thing from start to finish!!!!

We are living "1984" and Big Brother.

This is not good!

I am all for the UK cameras .... if you are not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about ... only crooks need to worry....

Also, they are zooming in LIVE as it happens and the quality of the zoom is tremendously good ... here in USA, the library in my city has better cameras than most banks ... once a robbery happens in the usa, most of the time the image quality is so bad that you feel lke smacking the victims who got robbed....that the victims deserved it ....you know you are gonna get robbed one day and you install this kind of POS cameras...check the quality homies cause one day you might need to turn it in to the police .... but no .. here, everyone waits till the last minute and then they turn in a footage that looks as though it was made by 2 yr olds...

Wonderful logic, I assume you wouldn't mind allowing the police to search you home and/or person whenever they feel like it without a warrant, hell, just give 'em a call right now, have them come over to make sure you are in compliance with all local, state and federal statutes.

After all, if you aren't doing anything wrong..............

There is a difference between survellience cameras in public places and and a warrantless search of private property.

I don't agree.

I'd be afraid that the cameras/video and what they capture could be manipulated by the police to generate a preferred outcome.

As for the time-stamp on the video camera, that can be manipulated also.

Abuse of power by police departments and politicians is rampant.

Yepper the Brits have over 14 million cctv cameras, and they are always perfect eye witness to the crimes. But they dont stop crime. Aparently a person will be seen 14 times a day in the London area on thse CCTV cams.

Too much intrusion for my liking. Of course having the minders see my Sd 14 times a day may be too much for them, and then they go off and do a store, and we then get funny vids. lol
