5512 Case in Question, Need Help

I had a friend who won a part lot and ask me to take alook at this 5512 case. I'm not expert on such field as cases has alot of variation and markings, so I did a few micro shots of the marking to see if anyone can help me out.

I suppose if the marking is not right or looks suspicious, I suppose the whole case should be flag. Even if its a re-write, I will prefer to let my friend know to keep the casing for himself instead.

But it's a correct marking, font and such then he can rebuild it.

Sorry about the newbie shot, I try to focus on the lettering.

The engraving doesn't look particularly suspicious. Vintage Rolex engraving is not perfect.

Looks a little suspicious to me, but Im comparing it to the 1966 I had.

Case and stamping seems a little too good. Looking forward to hearing what the experts say.

Notice how the deep parts of the Numbers are shiny?

And another,I’m pretty sure the OP’s Case is from Vietnam and not Switzerland.

Of course your comparing a 50+ year old case to a modern case nowhere equal. I own a 1969 5513 and a 66 GMT 1675 the engravings don't look alarming to me. I'll share pics of mines later to compare OP

I have multiple watches from the 60’s and they don’t look like the OP’s.

My 5513 that’s very close in serial,I also don’t like the lack of end link marks on the OP’s Case.

Can OP post some pics showing rest of case? Here are some pics from HQMilton site of engravings from close time period, notice differences in engravings from those few years:
