Those models are so bae! I'd love to have one in blue!

Anybody know how hard it would be to get a replacement strap for one of these? LOL

I know Ellen has the baby blue beach Daytona on baby blue leather strap. I don’t think it would look good on my overly hairy arms, but it looks great on her!

They sure did. Rolex actually had a short period of time where they brought out some wild stuff. Some I liked, some hideous IMO. (Leopard Daytona, Rainbow Daytona, Dials with flowers on them and so on

Wow, I never heard of these! Although their presence probably would not have impacted my Daytona hunt, I never even knew they existed.

I don’t think they flew off the shelves. I remember them being in every dealer, then lots of NOS ones for sale for a few years.

I remember seeing a pink one on WatchFinder a while ago didn’t know there was a range of other colours available.

Think I’ll keep my RG Daytona on OF over those thank you very much.

Yeah, it's a good thing I didn't know about that Tiffany blue one when I was on the hunt!

As you can see totally different; I brought them up the other day in a thread on mods to a 116520 I believe it was. He turned it more or less into a blue dialed Beach Daytona by adding the Ice Blue Platona dial and a blue strap. See below:

I actually created two pretty individual " Daytona Beach" versions myself, Daytona needs colour !
( All dials OEM, whte strap as well, babyblue one custom made)

MK1

MK2

The mint green and pink one look great. Rolex should produce a few more slightly unusual colour variants in limited numbers to give their image a 'younger/fun' edge

I think the dials looks absolutely amazing. Are they porcelain? But I think it looks more appropriate with a full bracelet if a man should wear it.
