and took my Breitling Chronomat Evolution MOP which I bought as a 40th birthday present to myself. I am still thankful as the burglar didn't take my Rolex Hulk (less than a year old) which is next to the Breitling.

Now I'm in the market for a new Breitling.

It's really weird. The burglar took his/her time in going through my stuff, leaving the gold stuff and taking the inexpensive silver items. There were other watches to choose from: e a few Tags, a Cartier and a Montblanc. Took the Breitling and I just had it serviced and replaced the strap with a blue alligator a few months ago.

As a police officer, this is really strange. Even a meth/crackhead would be more familiar with Rolex rather than Breitling. Was the house ransacked??? Could he have been scared off??? Thieves are usually in and out in a few minutes grabbing anything of value. Usually jewelry, cash, and coins. Something isn't right here.......

agree 100%, unless the burglar was scared off mid robbery, it makes no sense to take just the brietling and leave the rolex, cartier etc. Heck even my 9 yr old knows what a rolex is LOL!
