Is this normal for Rolex/Daytona??
Hi, I posted the following thread in another forum and received some replies. Just would like to have some 2nd opinion from other Daytona owners.
Thanks "After I set the time and push back the crown to its original position, the long minute hand will move about 1-min mark. Does anyone notice the same issue with your Daytona? " |

Doesn't happen with mine, but I believe the Zenith's were known for that, they didn't have, or the clutch wasn't as good as the Rolex movement, or whatever. Is it a Zenith?

M-series
Thanks for replies so far.
For more background information - I reset the time of my M series Daytona after its power reserve gone. (I did not wear it for a week). The Chrono function was off. After I set the the time I wanted, I push back the crown to its original position. Then I noticed that the minute hand moved 1-minute (Closewise) during my pushing of the crown back to its position. I tried couple of times after that and results were same. Any thoughts? |

just tried setting time with stopwatch on and off, my minute hand doesn't move at all. My GMTII and DJ with old movements do move though.

I don't get to "fiddle" with daytonas as much as other models but on all chronos you can adjust that by opening the crown and using the pushers.
