One of the many things I like about this particular model is the crown, there is nothing like a trip lock Rolex crown for ease of use and so forth, but this one is very close. For far less money. Comparing it to a sub, bezel is the same to use, and both ceramic, both sapphire crystal, this one is curved though and I find it easier to read in under water, the curve seems to magnify it in a way. Lume is no comparison, the Sub is not even close. General readability this wins, although the Subs date is easier to read. The case is designed in a way that this watch wears better against scratches. Of course the Sub bracelet is better than this strap, but this strap is better for use in salt water IMO, if that makes any sense. Iv'e owned 4 Subs of the different types, but I get more joy out of this watch.
