How soon after your first Rolex purchase did you purchase your second?
I got a Bluesy as my first just about 6 months ago but I’m itching for a second already....not sure if I should bite on a SS Sub or save up and buy an AP or Patek in a few years

Haha. Welcome to the fever. My first one was an Air King and I was hooked. Got my second one my first 16610 LV Green Submariner from the same AD like maybe a few months later. Been non stop since then.
Been a fun but spendy hobby. Oh and discovering TRF. That and the passion of a beloved member who first welcomed me aboard and his love of his Bluesy inspired me to get my third Rolex. The Two Tone Blue Submariner. The Bluesy. JJ, may he rest in peace. |

I got a Datejust as an engagement present 10 years ago but the first one I bought on my own is a used GMT Master 16700 someone sold me for $3000 last December. I thought it was a good deal but I didn't know how good it was until I did some research and that got me hooked.
I bought my second one, a polar 216570 from a gray dealer on a trip to Japan on the first week of Febuary. The following week an AD called to say they had a 114060 so I grabbed that one too. I’m done for now but if an AD calls or I find a Sea Dweller on one of my upcoming trips I’m gonna be in trouble with the wife. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I bought a new GMT II LN and within three months I had bought an Explorer I too. Don't remember but think I was deciding between the two and finally decide to get both.

My first Rolex was a DJ36 in Feb 2018, one month later Exp39 (these 2 watches to celebrate a business), in Aug a DaytonaC for my 50th birthday, now I have received a nice tax return for the business that brought me to Rolex and to celebrate it I have purchased a DD40 WG that I have not received yet.
I think that the Rolex spree ends here, for a while... ;-) |

Bought my first (BLNR) at the end of 2016. Very happy with it, but no plans for a second one.

First Rolex was a Sub date 2006, ten years later 2016 a TT Sub date then a 2018 BLNR and a Rolex OP for the wife. Next up a 114060 enjoy the journey.

I think I was about 2 years between my first and second but I was only a few months between my second and third.

It took me 3 months to buy my second Rolex. It was not until I had a 42mm Polar on my wrist every day that I fully appreciated the quality, comfort and just the sheer classiness of living with a watch like a Rolex. I have been most fortunate and I know how lucky I am.

Bought my first SubC date in March of 2018. Was just given a datejust 36 from my father (mother bought it 31 years ago). And now I am thinking about picking up a Tudor gmt while I wait for blue skydweller / white Daytona

There was quite a gap for me...
I bought my first, a Seadweller, in about 1992. I had that one watch till about 2010. Then, I bought my first ceramic GMT. Until I found TRF it never occurred to me to own more than one Rolex. |

My first was January of 2003
My second was July of 2003 My third was November of 2003. 2003 was both a great year for watch collecting and the beginning of a damn expensive hobby. |

After my first, I bought an AP maybe a year later and then I bought a series of PM Rolexes, once TRF took savage hold. I would buy a second Rolex now if saving for a PP takes longer than a year, it will be easy to trade it.
