Pretty cool custom 114060 on eBay

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Subma...cAAOSwKphcBD~Y

I know the watch is ruined, but nevertheless a lot of time was spent doing this! Think it looks pretty badass honestly

Sorry, but I think that looks horrible.

To each his own.

Damn shame what happened to that 114060. I’ve seen a lot of engraved Rolex and the work on this one is well below par, even for that course

I like pics 8,9,10

The rest isn’t really for me

Maybe because of the gold

Thanks for sharing!

Do tell what's so subpar about it? If going for that specifc theme I think its well above par! Again its not my cup of tea either, but I like the craftsmanship.

While I am not a fan of the motif of skulls and selective gold plating, I am in awe of the craftsmanship. If I wanted a one-off custom engraved watch that artist is one that I’d call.

When you consider the value of the underlying donor Sub, the uplifted cost of $5-6K is a small premium.

And the great bonus is you don’t ever need to worry about the AD/RSC scratching your lugs - they won’t touch it!!!

I’m sure it was born in the factory on Friday the 13th...

An interesting take on engraving for sure. However, I can see where fellow members may feel this is sub-par when such examples of exquisite engraving can be had by artist Bram Ramon. Check this out:

Haha, no! Unless I'm smuggling 2 kilos across the border every other week I don't think it would suit my personality.

Wow....I like it but you'd kinda have to be in a Motorcycle Gang to get away with it. Kinda tough to pull this off at the office.

I've been partial to the odd skull since I was a kid. Not on my watch thanks.

Not only is it ruined imo, it’s not even badass.

I usually don’t like engraved watches.. but if it’s gonna be engraved, it will have to be done by who knows what they are doing. Lol

Take the pam972 as an for example of a masterpiece
