Which to buy: 116520 or 16520?

Well, funny how my budget keeps going UP, looking for a new watch. I was going to go for a Tudor 79170 or the 94200, but feel that its too similar of a look as my GMT IIc, so I am in debate now between the two above mentioned Daytonas (SS with a black face). My concerns and debate are as follows:

--I like the face, markers, and hands of the 16520
--The movement of the 116520 is superior to the older Zenith movement
--appreciation--which one will be a better value in the long run

Now, what would you guys do? This will be in rotation with my GMT IIc, but not an every day wearer. Any insight is appreciated. I did a search and found a little bit of opinion from members in here, but would like to ask you all again what you would purchase and why?

First voter = 100% Zenith.

I have a 116520 and it is one of the best Rolex I own but I do like the more symetrical dial layout of the Zenith movement and it will very likely cost you more than a new 'V'.

White dial is my choice.

Well IMHO would not call the in-house movement superior to the Zenith the El-Primo is a well proved and very accurate movement. The only thing thats superior with the in-house is the power reserve, the Zenith will most certainly be the most collectable and IMHO will always demand a higher price.

Now the Zenith movement some say it was downgraded by the change from the high beat 36000 Bph to the normal for today 28800 Bph by Rolex. Now the Zenith El Primo movement has been around since the middle 1960s.And its one of the most respected and well proved chronos in this world today. And now are very collectable with prices going upward. And IMO will in the vintage world command a higher price than any of the in-house Rolex powered ones. Now the Zenith El Primo movement, was a relative small production run and simply because in future years it should be much more collectable.

And in chronograph movements terms a well proved and well respected its been around now for almost 40 years with very little change.Whilst the Rolex movement in real terms has only been around just a few years, the Rolex in-house movement is the first chronograph movement that Rolex have ever made but one of the best around. Now when Daytona fever took off in the later 90s,Zenith could not, or would not, supply the El-Primo base ebauche movement to Rolex, so Rolex then had to make there very first own chronograph movement the cal 4130 in the year 2000 simply because they had too.The main difference between the two movements is basically the dial configuration the Zenith one sub seconds at 9 O clock, the Rolex sub secs at the 6 O clock, and the Rolex one has a much greater power reserve. But as for accuracy IMO the El-primo is just as good.

Hell, I can't even tell the difference. Oh, yeah, I think I've got it. The sub-dials, right? I'm more into older watches, and I guess the Zenith is older, so.....
