Anybody saw the Billions season premiere last night? Noticed Bobby's camo 44 blue? Looks pretty f'ng cool (if you are Bobby A)!

Yeah, I think without the camo strap, it would look a lot better. I am still not sure what AP was thinking with that one..... they are certainly straying off into something different these days.

Love the show but the season premier was only so so.

Really like the new blue ceramic on the SS 44mm ROO and since the watch comes with a standard blue strap as well as a camo it makes for a fun change up. Wish my Pt could have the blue ceramic but the camo strap is a fun summer strap that stands out.

Isn't Wempe allegedly supplying the watches for the show? They had their AP account taken away more than a year ago, so the show must have some deal with AP separately, since this is 2 seasons in a row he's sporting an AP.

Given that he's a billionaire it would be nice to see him sporting a different watch every couple of episodes.

Thought it might be an ALS of some kind on Chuck. But never got a really good look at it last night.

Was wondering the same............ figured it was a VC or ALS from the previews.

When I started to pause shows like this one to get a closer look at the characters' watches is when I got some inkling that I might have an obsession : )

My wife just rolls her eyes now when I call out watches on various shows these days. She used to seem interested at one point, now she just thinks I have a problem.

And yeah, it looked like Axe wore 2 different AP's during the episode: that ROO followed by a RO (I'm assuming the same chrono from last year, but I couldn't tell for sure)

he wore the same one last season, it looks like an AP chrono with solid blue dial and arabic numerals, cant find anything like that

Shows often showcase replicas to fit the character. Don't think shows have a huge watch budget especially for hard to find pieces. Entourage was different.

Doug Ellen, the creator of Entourage is actually a big AP fan so he starting placing them in the show before they started gaining popularity. Even gifted one to Piven. From Piven “I think the creator of Entourage, Doug Ellin, was a real big fan of that brand, and he went to lengths to showcase that watch." I always wondered with Entourage if FHB had a hand in getting the watches on the show. He was the director for APNA at the time and had a big part in bringing the watches to athletes and actors in the US. Doug was a collector and FHB gave him some good pieces to highlight on a show that would be perfect for APs expanding demographic.

I think brands are starting to see the power of having their watches in popular shows and might gift them or use them as product placement now. I think the watch fits Axe pretty well. When Wall Street and his competitors are all custom suits, ties, cuff links and dress watches he's in old tee shirts, hoodies and camo APs. It grabs attention and is controversial just like Axe.

Pretty sure someone managed to zoom in on the video and either determine from aesthetics or the second hand movement, one or the other. Likely same one.

I saw a close up of the bracelet in the end of last season and it didn’t look right. First time I noticed it being off. And yeah many shows used prop watches. Entourage as noted above was an exception

Really like the new blue ceramic bezel. Surprisingly, I like the strap too.

the movie was bad unfortunately

i'm a huge entourage fan but even the show was getting worse towards the end, especially season 7. i feel like Piven carried the show towards the end

i was really excited after season 1 of ballers because it looked like entourage except with NFL players but that show also became pretty bad. does have nice watches though, the rock wears a RG royal oak and rob corddry has a day date + bunch of nfl cameos in there
