(New) Tudor Black Bay Bronze

What are your thoughts on this new version?

I'm a sucker for bronze so I love it. Think i'll be picking one up later this year to join the others..

This was one of the few watches of the release I really liked. I'm very curious to see one in person, it could be on my radar now.

It's the best looking piece they released this year. I could see picking one up but I don't own the Bucherer as you do so I would pick that one up first. Overall I think my money is safe this year.

Any word on the thickness? 43mm is 1 or 2mm more than I'd like in case diameter, but I love the design. Or is it the same thickness as the blue bronze?

I'd grab the Bucherer first as well. No telling how much longer it'll be in production and I'm sure the new version will be around for a few years and more readily available.

It's the Bucherer edition brought to the US. Good release

Yep, wish they kept it at same dimensions like the black bay 58.

I actually like this a lot and it’s probably my favorite Tudor release. Definitely want to see it in person.

I think it’s beautiful. Would have loved it to be smaller, but it’s stunning.

Do you think the original will now go up in value? At the minimum it is officially an original classic.

I think it’s their best release this year by a mile. Probably even better than what Rolex did.

A little on the large side but aesthetically it looks great.

Here’s another question I have: the Tudor site states this is a bronze-colored PVD coated steel. Will this stand the test of time? Should I be bothered that it’s not a solid bronze case? What else would be important to know about PVD coating? Many thanks.

Don’t know where you’re seeing that. The case is solid aluminum bronze and the US site states that.

One can only speculate but I don’t think it will increase too much in value. I don’t think the BBB is on a lot of peoples want list.
