No more DD36 in Platinum!

No picture as it doesn't exist in current production! Only yg, wg, and rg.

There is a turquoise dial yg dd36, should look interesting in the real.

Comments?

Most people who want a platinum DD either bought the DD2 or now the 40 for 62.5k. The 36 for 57.6 is too much. Due to the smooth bezel it looks smaller than fluted DDs. Unless buying to keep forever they were a bad purchase new. For 24-30 it’s a different story.

Yeah. I wish that they had kept the dd36 pt as well.

The new fumé dials are very nice for the dd36.

I don't see any new DD40 dials. I wish we had a few more options there.

The Platinum 36 was fantastic but they were highly discounted and slow to sell. Wish otherwise but I understand the decision. It could also come back down the road.

That's a shame, I've been saving up for one.

the new dials are nice. that torquoise dual would look really good if they made it a regular diamond dial though

No more strap option, Oyster bracelet option, or domed bezel option anymore either. Just gold, President, and fluted bezel (or diamonds).

Some of the new DD36 dials are neat though:

The pavé with rainbow markers is a nice look for a woman or a man who wants to rock it.

Agree, this seems to be the direction they are going with it.

If true, they should have gone all the way and made it the DD 31

Looks like it.

Oh well, that's me done with Rolex now.

I've been saving up for past couple of years for a DD36 in YG with white batton dial, and was hoping to be able to buy by the end of this year, but looks like that's me out of the frame.

Clearly Rolex just are no longer interested in making classic traditional watches.
