Got the Call. First Rolex

Hi Guys,

After a year long wait, managed to source my first Rolex.

Not to frustrate the loyal customers waiting for theirs but to encourage the smaller fish like me, good things do still happen.

I'm a first time buyer and got the call last week. My BLRO, for which I paid a deposit on day 2 of Baselworld 2018, had arrived.

Here is the baby that I picked up !

I will post some more in the following days.

For now I'm over the moon ! The year was certainly worth it and I am happy that I managed to source it despite having no purchase history.

PS : Mark2 bezel? :Chuckle:

It looks great!

I personally am pleased that the Jubilee bracelet has become popular again.

Congratulations to you and pleased to hear you were able to work through an AD to acquire it.

Yes, it’s not impossible

Nice!

It’s good to know that “small fish” can still buy something they want!

Congrats on the BLRO. Very happy that you were able to get one within a reasonable wait time by putting down a deposit. This is the exact kind of situation where I think deposits can be a good thing.

Congrats!

Details?

Small town / big city? Mom and pop AD - or large chain?

Had you purchased any large ticket items from this AD - jewelry etc. previously?
