After debating whether to flip my Black Bay and to come back to Rolex and buy an OP 36 or 39, or buy a new Seamaster Professional, or buy a Black Bay 58, I decided to buy the OP 36 with a black dial.

I love the double batons on 3-6-9 and the sunburst dial. As far as Rolex selection goes, it was between this, the OP 39 and an Air King. The Air King was nice, but I really like the sunburst dial over the flat black. That was it besides TT DJ’s and some other PM models. I was shocked I could choose between the 36 and 39 and the Air King.

It’s good to be back to Rolex though, and I’ll plan on keeping this and just adding watches when I can versus flipping this one. I flipped my MK II Explorer and made a killing and bought the Black Bay, but definitely missed my Rolex.
