Omega Railmaster Ref. 2803.52 Co-axial Automatic 39mm Box & Papers
The original CK2914 Railmaster is considered one of the "Holy Trinity" of vintage Omega sport watches. While the Seamaster and the Speedmaster have been in production since the 50s, the Railmaster did not have the same longevity even with its timeless style. Thankfully, Omega decided to modernize and re-release the Railmaster in the mid-2000s with a slightly more modern look that still kept true to the key features of the original model. These Railmasters were offered in 36, 39, and 42mm versions (along with a colossal 49mm XXL version), and the 39mm version offered here stood out as the most balanced in its proportions and wearability of the range. Although these watches were discontinued after only a few years, this version of the Railmaster remains one of the best in the line since the originals.
This example is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original box and paperwork. Condition is per the photos and as follows: Case: 39mm case in very good shape with contrasting brushed and bright polished surfaces. There are no significant scratches, dings, or dents on the case as shown in the photos. Bezel: Polished steel fixed bezel in good shape with only minor surface wear as pictured. Dial/Hands: Original black dial/hands with excellent lume. No markings or oxidation. Caseback: Excellent polished see-through sapphire display back. Crystal: Original sapphire crystal free from scratching. Movement: Caliber 2403 co-axial Omega automatic movement keeping excellent time. All functions work as they should. Service history is unknown. Bracelet/Strap: Original OEM Omega stainless steel bracelet sized for a ~7.75" wrist and includes two additional bracelet links for a full length bracelet. Accessories: The watch comes with its original inner and outer boxes, manual, warranty card dated in 2008 and its original hang tag as pictured. Price is $3100 shipped insured FedEx overnight CONUS via PayPal or wire (3% discount for wire). US sale preferred, international sales will pay the cost of shipping. Face to face in the Boston area also welcome. I have many references available. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking! |
