Does anyone hope for a smooth/flat bezel on DJ36?
Does anyone hope for a smooth/flat bezel on the DJ36 instead of the domed bezel?
I don't mind it on the OP range, but it would be nice if the domed bezel remain on the OP range but flat on the DJ36. |

I would really like to see a smooth bezel on the DJ36. Didn’t the five digit 16200 have it?

Yes, the 5-digit datejust’s steel bezel (ref. 16200) was flat, but the six-digit 116200 was domed. And the newly announced DJ36 from 2019 Baselworld with steel bezel is also domed. So... I don’t think you’ll see a flat bezel on the DJ36 anytime soon. Maybe when the model is next revised in ~10 years. I don’t know of any past occasions where Rolex has changed a datejust bezel design within the model run.
